BEd Sanskrit: What is it about?

Sanskrit is one of the languages which came into existence in the ancient Era and several holy books written by various authors all were in Sanskrit. In today’s Era Sanskrit is one of the mediums to connect people with our literature and traditions.

 

The course is good for people who want to flourish the importance of the Sanskrit language which is getting faded day by day.

There are less private job opportunities for students who have BEd Sanskrit degrees so students must be aware of this before applying for this course.

Sanskrit is a very difficult language so students who are learning this language should really have to work very hard.

An admission to the course is usually based on the score obtained by a candidate in an entrance exam. Some of the major all India entrance exams conducted for BEd Sanskrit admissions are University of Calicut Entrance exam, AMU Entrance exam etc. Some of the colleges offer direct admissions also on the basis of merit.

Tips to prepare for the BEd Sanskrit Entrance Examinations?

Candidates preparing for any of the above mentioned entrance examinations are advised to take note of the preparation tips given below:

 

Students need to go through the syllabus which they have studied till 10+2.Candidates who want to score good in the entrance exams should have to manage the time properly and practice as much as they can.

Decide on Exam Preparation material early and stick to the decided Textbooks or Prep Material throughout their study. This will help students avoid any confusion especially towards the end.

Practice with previous Year’s Papers. This will help candidates to get familiar with both the content and format of the entrance examination.. With practice students can improve their speed as well to complete the tougher sections.

 

Merit- based Admission

Students need to submit the application form to the colleges or universities they want to take admission.

Students need to perform well in their undergraduate course as the scores obtained in these form the basis in the whole admission process.

Some college’s release their cutoff list as well please check if you are eligible in any of the colleges.

If you are eligible then visit the college and submit all the required documents.

Entrance- based Admission

The steps to apply for entrance exam based admission are mentioned below:-

 

Registration: Students need to create the account on the portal of the institute by entering details like name, phone number etc in this step.

Application Form: All details in the application form should be filled with care so that all information is correct.

Uploading of documents: Scan and upload all the necessary documents in a way that the format of the uploaded document is accepted by the institute's portal.

Payment of Application Fees: Candidates who are applying for this course need to pay the application fees.

Downloading of the admit card: Admit cards are released once all applicants are judged for eligibility. Candidates need to take print out of the admit card which can be used on the day of entrance exam.

Entrance Exam: Prepare for the exam as per syllabus and past papers. Appear for the examination on the date of examination.

Results: Results are announced after a few weeks. If a candidate is successful in qualifying the entrance they can move on to the next round.

Counseling and Admission: Counseling is held for students who have cleared the entrance examinations. The student can now take admission in BEd Sanskrit course.

BEd Sanskrit: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must pass a 10+2 examination with Sanskrit as one of the subjects from a recognized university.

Have scored at least 50% marks aggregate in 10+2 or at least 45% in Sanskrit.

Relaxation of 5% marks will be given to students belonging to ST/SC category.

A candidate should have passed the required entrance exam with qualifying marks.

BEd Sanskrit: Entrance Exams

Some of the popular BEd Sanskrit entrance exams are as follows:

 

University Of Calicut Entrance exam: This exam is conducted by Calicut University. It’s conducted every year for admission into undergraduate programs. It is an online examination which consists of both types of questions, subjective and objective.

AMU Entrance exam: It is an online exam conducted every year by Aligarh Muslim University.
